The Communications Director is responsible for managing the agency’s reputation within the US. The goal is to help build the profile of the agency within the industry through thought leadership content, awards, storytelling and celebration of work. Key success criteria for this role includes an increase in the number of inbound/RFP requests, press coverage and award wins.

This role will work very closely with the new business function to help drive continued growth of the agency within the US.



  • Contribute to revenue growth and hit growth targets

  • Build out content and marketing strategy for the agency including the social media and blog editorial approach

  • Plan and host 1000heads produced events for prospects

  • Manage process for creation of case studies and award submissions

  • Help drive press coverage and speaking opportunities for senior staff

  • Secure strategic partnerships that support wider marketing intiatives

  • Be present in the industry scene and network effectively at local events.



  • At least 5-7 years of PR/Marketing experience preferably at a social/creative agency or start up.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills

  • Proven ability to interact with senior-level executives and press

  • Ability to create both long form and short form thought leadership content

  • Demonstrated leadership skills that motivate staff and create a productive work environment

  • Actively participate in group settings and can comfortably interact with all levels of management
